Castro Boyz...wait I mean...whatever.

SF International Asian American Film Festival

Ok, so last Saturday the gang went to explore the Asian underworld of Northern California. If it weren't for the fact that I was wearing a beanie and standing in front of a huge "Castro" marquee, I think I would have felt like we were in Hawaii. It was all Asian...all the time. I think Kojak was the only whitey in attendance. Nah, but he's not really white. We've determined that he would be considered an egg...white on the outside and yellow in the middle. Whereas I would be considered a twinkie...yellow on the outside and white on the inside.



Anyway, so we went to see a movie with Bai Ling. She is recently getting recognized for her work in some North American films and will be in Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. It is obvious that she looks a little weird, but she really has an uncanny sexiness that was portrayed in the movie. But alas, I digress.

I don't want to give away too much from the movie because our budding writer is going to give a full review in due time. But it's basically about a former doctor who runs a dumpling shop, and uses exotic engredients that promote youth and beauty. I guess the stuff works since she looks like that and plays a 60 year old woman in the movie...masterfully done I might add.
